In November 2011 representatives of Links USA, Links UK, and Links South Africa converged at Wellspring Uganda to lead a pastors conference. Joe Brownback and Billy Wells of Links USA went for training and experience in Micro Enterprise Development and Community Healthcare. Both have degrees in business and hope to do Kingdom work leading MED teams into new areas. In Uganda they went out with a Micro Enterprise Development team to villages to hear testimonies of how Links' micro loans have transformed lives and communities. They also travelled to a prospective village where they participated in an initial health care assessment. They were able to put immediate solutions in place such as a handwashing station, dehydration solution, and basic disease prevention techniques. They trained the village leaders to use the unique water filters that Links provides and 2 have been sent for use in the village school. They were able to lead a small business training and question/answer session with the small business owners and future MED recipients.

We are currently investing time in Haiti partnering with For His Glory and River Stone Community Church. We hope these relationships will lead to opportunites to bring Links' philosophy and experience to Haiti where God will use us for transformative and restorative Kingdom work.
